Philodendron warscewiczii

Out of Stock

One of the choicest of the various split-leaved Philodendrons. A climber from southern Mexico and Central America, it has a very thick stem and blunt growing tip. The leaves are highly ornate with a shape hard to describe, except to say they have a very intricate pattern of fingers and branches. As the plant matures, the leaves grow larger and more intricate in shape. A fairly slow grower that will not need a support until it reaches a relatively large size. In nature it is usually a lithophyte, growing on exposed rock surfaces in full sun. Native to seasonally dry forests, and may become deciduous in times of drought without any permanent damage.
