Ceropegia cimiciodora

Out of Stock

A curious, woody, vining succulent with only rudimentary leaves at the stem tips which do not persist, and with rather spectacular flowers. Native to the Transvaal of South Africa, it lives in arid regions of scrubland, using the scrub for shelter and support. The stems are olive green and mottled, twining as they grow or branching and forming shrub-like, procumbent plants. Flowers are unusual, with a long corolla tube widening and flaring at the top and a corona with long, outwardly flaring points.

Unusual, pretty and stinky! Grow on the dry side, bright and in a porous soil. Propagates from cuttings.
