Aechmea fosteriana

Out of Stock

A gracefully tall and tubular species that grows on short, sturdy stolons and does very well mounted. In tropical landscapes this plant is often used in trees where it forms large colonies on vertical trunks. The leaves are long and strap-like, about three inches wide and green with a grayish scurf. Dark mottling forms banding, bolder on the leaf undersides. The inflorescence is semi-pendant, a long scape with clusters of short, yellow branches and rose colored bracts.
