CEDAR ORCHID BASKETS

Useful for many epiphytic plants and essential for Vanda culture. Sturdy, well made baskets manufactured in Central America from Cedrela odorata, or Tropical Cedar, which has a cedar fragrance and looks like mahogany. Its use for baskets is mostly a byproduct of furniture manufacturing. These long lasting baskets are non toxic to plants and resist rot. The galvanized wires that hold the baskets together are of a heavy gauge to last for years. We have both square and octagon baskets in sizes 4in through 12in, available as singles, sets of ten of a size, sets of three, 4, 6, & 8in nested in single sets and ten set cases. CEDAR SLAT MOUNTING PLAQUES

You’ve heard of muffin tops, well these are basket bottoms. Basically a one inch tall orchid basket, perfect for mounting any epiphytic plant. We use them for ferns and orchids mostly, but they are perfect for any plant that needs great air circulation. Line with sphagnum or not and easily wire your plant to the open slats. Hang with an ‘S-hook’ or make a hanger with any wire.
