Tillandsia caput-medusae x brachycaulos A medium sized plant to about 8in tall, with a somewhat bulbous base and leaves that twist and curl. A silvery color tints red towards anthesis and the inflorescence is a head of short red branches. $10.00 #505
Tillandsia confertiflora This mesic grower is medium-sized at about 10in, somewhat resembling a Til. confinis. The gray-green leaves sometimes tint reddish in strong light. The inflorescence is branched with bright red-orange scape bracts and reddish floral bracts, coated with a waxy powder. Flowers are purple. Grows best in a loose media in intermediate conditions. 4in, $20.00 #1854
Tillandsia x correalei A natural hybrid of fasciculata x hondurensis from Honduras. A medium sized silvery plant, with a bright-red, branched inflorescence. Found rarely among the multitudes of T. hondurensis, which live on exposed cliffs in the mountainous central part of the country. $25.00 #4280
Tillandsia flabellata Reddish strappy leaves and a candelabra-like bright red inflorescence makes this species a spectacular plant for pot or mount.  We grow some potted and some mounted. Large plants in 3in pots, $7.50 #187L
Tillandsia flavobracteata A new species related to fasciculata, with 20in long, narrow leaves in an upright vase shape. The inflorescence is stunning, uprightly branched and bright yellow. A outstanding plant. First release, $25.00 #5880
Tillandsia guatemalensis A mesic species akin to T. leiboldiana. Forming a wide leafed, open rosette shape with green, sometimes red tinted leaves and a tall spike with red bracts and branches. Grows well potted or mounted. Imported plants, mature size,  $12.50 #6781
Tillandsia guelzii A beautiful, silvery plant in a leafy 10in rosette with a handsome, silver-dusted pink-orange inflorescence and white flowers. Resembles didisticha a little and is sometimes confused with pucarensis. Our plants came originally from the collection of Dr. Werner Rauh years ago. $20.00 #4946
Tillandsia hamaleana An exquisite rarity from the cool tropical forests of Ecuador’s western Andes Mountains. An open rosette of soft green leaves, more resembling a Vriesea than a Tillandsia, produces an inflorescence with short branches covered in spectacular, very large and very fragrant purple flowers. A mesic grower, in cultivation it requires moist but loose, well draining media. Seldom seen and much in demand. Nice medium sized to mature plants, very limited, 4in pots, $20.00 #206
Tillandsia ionantha 'Druid' A unique yellow-blushing clone with white to yellow flowers. When in bloom, the whole top of the plant turns a bright yellow instead of red! A beautiful sight! Single plants, $7.50 #394
Tillandsia ionantha v. stricta forma fastigiata 'Peanut' One of the smallest of the ionanthas often growing no larger than an inch tall. A clustering little plant from the highlands of Oaxaca with its leaves growing in a tight, upright rosette. $3.50 #1831
Tillandsia ionantha 'Zebrina' An interesting novelty that occurred in the collection of Bert Foster about 25 years ago and has persisted ever since. An otherwise normal ionantha but with even breaks in the trichomes, forming a banded pattern. Very decorative. Nice large plants, $3.50 #6741
Tillandsia ixioides A medium sized species we collected in Bolivia, with stiff silvery leaves and a brownish scape bearing bright yellow flowers. Forms large clumps when mounted. Seed grown. $6.00 #224
Tillandsia kegeliana The deep red clone, one of the most desirable and sought Tillandsia species. This rare form comes from the hinterlands of the Darien in Panama. A small plant, growing to about 6in across in a somewhat bulbous, greenish-gray open rosette. The inflorescence is a short, inflated arrowhead-shaped scape of deep red. Once very scarce. Now available for $7.50 #480
Tillandsia leonamiana A Brazilian species allied to recurvifolia, with recurving, silvery, 4 to 6in leaves and an inflorescence with bright orange bracts and white flowers. A very nice plant, easy to cultivate mounted in strong light. Nice large plants, $6.00 #245
Tillandsia narthecioides Native to moist Andean forests from sea level to 5,000 feet, our plants originated in Ecuador. Grows readily potted or mounted, if kept a little moist. The inflorescence is a tall, distichous spike with flowers arranged so as to resemble a ladder. The large flowers are white and quite sweetly fragrant. 3in pots, $10.00 #271
Tillandsia novakii A caulescent species with a stem to over two feet long with very stiff, thick, spreading, almost succulent, red leaves. The inflorescence consists of a rose-red scape with 3 to 6 narrow branches, the whole extending over a foot. Native to Veracruz, Mexico where it grows as an epiphyte in small trees under semi-arid conditions. Easy to cultivate. Nice plants, about a foot long or more. $25.00 #1245
Tillandsia oerstediana A magnificent and truly spectacular species from Costa Rica. Native to open forested slopes where specimens in bloom can be seen from long distances across the valleys. Unfortunately, this plant is now becoming rare due to deforestation. A large grower with an inflorescence that is nothing less than spectacular, reaching a height of three feet in a pyramid of brilliant yellow branches and lasting over a year in color. Grows best potted in loose media. Rare in collections. Large plants, 30in or more, grown from seed, could bloom at this size or grow to double! Shipped bare root out of 10in clay pots, $65.00 #273
Tillandsia platyrhachis No doubt one of the most spectacular Tillandsias. A large grower to 30in across, with a heavily branched inflorescence of deep pink. Native to the Andes forests of the Amazonian side and appreciates cooler temps and pure water, though it can be cultivated in Florida. Just a few medium plants in 6in pots, $35.00 #1297
