Tillandsia ehlersiana A jewel from southern Mexico is a very desirable, unusual species. A medium sized plant to 12in tall with the girth of a tennis ball. The terete leaves are  contorted, and covered with a silvery scurf. The inflorescence is a stout, erect, branched pinkish spike. Easy to grow.

Tillandsia intermedia The most unusual of the proliferating Tillandsias. Long, thin plants have stiff gray leaves ending in a tight curl. It blooms, producing an offset from the tip of the spike and additional ones from its base, eventually forming huge clusters of intertwined plants.
